Coach Alan Moore
Is based out of Turbeville, SC and has been a practioncer of shootwrestling and Catch as Catch Can for around 15 years. He also has practiced other arts such as Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Aikido, Silat, Wing Chun and Kali. In 2005, Coach Moore began teaching at his new school Spartan's Quest. The curriculum consists of applying concepts and skills that prepare the student for all aspects of the combative experience. He has led several students to successful beginnings in MMA and his school boasts and impressive MMA record(7-0 w/ 1 draw) and an successful submission grappling team who is well known in SC Submission Wrestling Championships. Coach Moore's recent activities have involved the training in restraint and combative tactics to several Bennetsville Federal Prison Guards who work with high risk inmates. Even though Spartan's Quest offers a small training area and "spartan" enviroment, we pride ourselves in top notch training with experienced instuctors.
